The Wood Lea Press was founded in 1987 to publish The wood-engravings of John Nash (now out of print).

Since then, the press has published a number of books devoted to British print-making in the first half of the twentieth century — Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant, Roger Fry, Carrington, Edward Wadsworth, Paul Nash, and John Nash are among the artists that have been featured.

The books are large format, limited editions with great care being taken in their design and in the choice of paper and bindings. All the work is illustrated, full-size wherever possible.

Details of books in print are given on this website but, to give you a better idea of the quality, please send for a prospectus printed to the same standard as the book on the paper used for it.
